开展多铁性、纳米材料的研究工作。制备了稳定的形貌可控的BiFeO3微米粉体颗粒,并使得BiFeO3磁性得到增强;发展了磁电的测试方法,发展了等效电路模型,对称地描述磁性部分和铁电部分,把二者统一到了一起;开展TiO2基的复杂氧化物纳米材料的制备及物性研究,获得了优质的光催化、吸附材料。

2009年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。先后参加了国家973项目,863项目,国家自然科学基金重点项目的研究,主持完成中国博士后科学基金1项,国家自然科学基金项目,目前主持国家自然科学基金项目,中央高校基本科研业务费专项资金项目,在国内外学术期刊发表学术论文70余篇,其中SCI收录40余篇。获得2016年度陕西高等学校科学技术一等奖,2016年度陕西省科学技术二等奖
